Big Jeff’s Race Journey

It’s finally here, the race weekend for the ages. I wanted to tell you all about this crazy NHRA journey so far. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions but have been some of the most exhilarating times of my life. A short time ago, I was presented with the opportunity to sponsor an NHRA Pro Stock Driver, Camrie Caruso. It’s not something I had considered before; it’s not something an audio distributor had ever done before. It would be a big leap for the company and me personally. After mulling it over for a while, weighing the benefits and wrestling if the risk would be worth it, I chose to take the leap. Big Jeff Audio isn’t just “Where You Go for Big Sound,” it’s where we GO BIG!

Since I took the plunge into the NHRA racing world It has been non-stop excitement. On top of the once in a lifetime opportunity sponsorship, I still had the daily responsibilities of running the company and taking care of over 30 employees. Between negotiating with new brands to add to our collection, creating videos and going live for our social media, and all the little details that keep me up late to ensure our customers get the best service and products we can provide, all while getting ready for this weekend’s race, the strain was enormous. It has certainly been a stressful time, but I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the NHRA and supporting Camrie Caruso in her pursuit of the Championship.

What this means for my company, my customers, and people that have supported me from day one is immeasurable. We have a chance to tap into another market of people and bring together the 12-volt industry and the racing industry in an unprecedented way.

I’ll be at the zMax Dragway in Charlotte, NC for Circle K NHRA 4-Wide Nationals tomorrow for the race. So, look for me and one of the best dragracers in the sport, Camrie Caruso, this weekend as this fantastic moment culminates for both our teams.
