As we prepare for the next Big Sound Podcast, we will take a look at one of our guests that will appear on the May 18th show; Alan Palmer co-founder of Galeforce Audio. Galeforce is a premium marine-grade speaker company. Alan started in the audio world when he was 16, installing small systems for himself. By 19, he was competing at bass competitions across Florida. He spent hours at local audio shops, testing and learning as much as he could from audio forums.
He spoke with other brand owners at these shows and listening to them share his audio passion made him excited to start a brand of his own. The company was fully funded by Alan and his partner. Alan takes pride in having his hands on every aspect of the company, he handles everything from shipping, working with dealers and customers, to website management and marketing, to speaking with the factory producing their products.
Alan and Galeforce have a busy schedule ahead as they will be appearing at Bike Week in Myrtle Beach this week, the Made of Steel show in Tampa next weekend, and Slamology at the Indianapolis Raceway in June. Galeforce is expected to showcase a few prototypes and are hoping to expand their brand to include a few more speaker lines by the end of the year. “We're constantly working on new products and improving what we have.” Alan said.
The podcast will spend more time with Alan Palmer this Thursday, May 18
