Big Sound Podcast Episode 7 Recap

Last night we wrapped the 7^th episode of the Big Sound by Big Jeff Podcast, and it was a great time with friends and viewers, old and new. We had some new announcements, giveaways, and in-depth conversations with our guests. We welcomed streamer DJ Mark V and three people from Audiopipe, Frank Carreras, Julio Rodriguez, and John Messer. We also gave away two spools of wire from Full Tilt to two of our lucky audience members and announced the winner of our 16K giveaway.

We had such a great time with DJ Mark V, who does a live stream of his DJ set every Friday. Big Jeff spoke to Mark all about music, which is one of the most essential parts of car audio. Mark gave us some insight on how DJing has changed over the years, the impact of digital media, and even how technology has changed the equipment a DJ uses. His passion started from a young age with his father playing him Disco music on 45s, then that passion grew with the explosion of electronic music and break beats. Mark’s fun and energetic sets are a great addition to any Friday afternoon, and you can catch them at 2pm eastern every Friday.

Our other guests are key members of the Audiopipe team. Frank Carreras, as the Operations Manager must make sure all the different departments are working together in unison. John Messer manages the national distribution of Audiopipe’s products and handles the logistics of getting them all over the country. Our third Audiopipe guest was Julio Rodriguez, who wears many hats but primarily works in product development and purchasing. Julio had to leave early due to technical difficulties but was there for Big Jeff to tell a hilarious story about the two of them from their early days in car audio, watch the show to see the story. Frank, Julio and John gave us a fascinating look into their world and what it takes to run a premium audio brand. Audiopipe is working on some fantastic new products, like these marine tower enclosures, that are perfect addition to your setup for summer.
