General Manager (growing e-commerce electronic wholesaler)
This position will provide the highest level customer service. Responsible for managing all aspects of the sales, warehouse, creative, and customer service departments, and leading the team to provide the highest level of attention and products to our customers and dealers online in-person, and on the phone. The General manager must also always focus on our company’s vision, mission, goals, and values. The GM will work directly with the entire team daily to ensure efficiency and profitability (short-term and long-term). This position is also responsible for training and orienting new team members in delivering the ultimate customer service experience and utilizing our service principles and standards.
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
Occasional Saturdays for meetings
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead, Direct, manage, and motivate the entire team
- Provide training, education, and expectations
- Participate in the selection process for the Sales and Customer Service departments
- Participate in coaching, evaluation, and all performance management processes
- Communicate with customers, dealers, and team members (some of whom will require tact diplomacy and integrative problem solving)
- Create and produce reports as needed
- Attend company and managers meetings
- Pro-actively identify and engage potential issues
- Work with managers and owner to provide coaching and development
- Control all product inventories and assure adequate par level are always maintained which includes product selection, ordering receiving, and storage.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse and sales floor.
- Actively promotes company culture and associated initiatives and processes
- Recognize and manage emergency situations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in wholesale warehouse in a managerial role or combined experience
- High school diploma for GED required, and a college degree is preferred
- Knowledge in E-commerce management systems is highly desirable and technical proficiency in Microsoft applications is required
- Customer service experience in a high-volume/ high-quality environment with the ability to problem solve, identify, and resolve the situation
- Effective communication both written and verbal in English, with all level employees and customers in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner. Bilingual is a plus.
- Outstanding organization and time management skills required
- Excellent listening skills required
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Knowledge in preparing and understanding complex reports
- Ability to access and accurately input information using moderately complex computer systems
- Provide hands on support for the entire team
- Remain calm and professional under stress

- Ability to handle conflict and confrontation
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Be able to make decisions, possess good judgment Work environment
- Regularly works indoors on the sales floor, warehouse, and in administrative areas
- Work outdoors often with adverse conditions with exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces.
