We have 10,000 Sq ft Warehouse and a second 6,000 Sq Ft Warehouse and tons of product that needs to be kept in order and counted.

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. A successful assistant manager is analytical, well-organized and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork, information systems, and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. The goal is to assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure that the shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively. Our Warehouse has many moving parts and at any given point is moving several different items. We need a team leader that can act swiftly and confidently in response to any of the various situations that might arise. This is not a desk job; you will be expected to work with your team.

Experience:

  • Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
  • Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
  • Inspect labels other features of completed orders
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
  • Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
  • Report to management on activities and issues
  • Ship station
  • Amazon FBA
  • Microsoft
  • QuickBooks
Skills:
  • Proven experience as shipping supervisor/team lead
  • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
  • Experience in preparing shipping documents
  • Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • High school diploma

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: from $40,000.00 salary

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday average of 50 hours per week
  • 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Just prior to employees coming and just after they leave
  • Manager meeting every other Wed at 4:30 for about a hour or so
  • Minimum of 1 Saturday per month

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 1 years (Nice to have)
  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Nice to have)
  • Microsoft Excel 2 years (Nice to have)
  • Warehouse Leadership: 2 years (Required)
  • Basic Computer Operations 2 years (Required)
