DS18s current waterproof carbon fiber cone design and super strong rubber surrounds protect these speakers from damage sustained by use in harsh environments. This also helps increase the sensitivity level on these speakers, so they play LOUD and clear on every use. Although the speakers components are waterproof, the speaker itself is only water resistant so use in rough conditions should be avoided as much as possible.
