The classic DD AUDIO style heat sink is used in this upgrade for max cooling with 50% more side wall thickness than industry norms and extra long fins to increase surface area. All major components have been upgraded; higher current mosfets and output devices, increased power capacitors, a more powerful transformer, plus improved venting and PCB with twice the thermal capability. These new high-end mini amps are state of the art, no compromise designs yielding the best sound with unparalleled power to size ratio. The transformation is not only tangible, but audibly apparent. The SS4.500 is a 4 channel amplifier delivering a minimum of 125 Watts per channel from a mere 30 square inch footprint. This versatile, high speed, class D design can drive full range components and subwoofers through selectable high pass and low pass crossovers.
