Engineered with 12 diodes, twin rectifier plates, and outstanding airflow, they guarantee significantly better durability than standard Delco CS130-based alternators, even in severe conditions. This custom-designed housing seamlessly replaces standard CS130 "left mount" alternators, particularly those used on 1987-1995 Chevy C1500 Pickups and some aftermarket accessory drives. With a single wire on the provided pigtail connecting to any ignition-switched 12V+ source, the alternator is easily controlled with the ignition switch. Run properly sized positive and ground cables from the alternator to the battery terminals for seamless operation, regardless of your wiring harness. Thanks to their compact size and standard GM mounting ears, these alternators also excel in many aftermarket or custom bracket installations.
