To unleash its power, simply connect one wire to a switched 12V source. Note that the “check battery†light may stay on due to a slightly higher voltage setpoint. Designed for maximum output at 2,000 RPM engine speed, it may not charge effectively at engine idle RPM speeds below 800 rpm. This hairpin alternator combines incredible 320 amp output with a compact and durable design, featuring 12 diodes, twin rectifier pure copper plates, and exceptional airflow for extended service life, even in severe conditions.
