The kit includes a small adapter bracket, allowing seamless installation on the 2.2L engine without any grinding or modifications, though a slightly longer serpentine belt will be needed and can be easily obtained at any local auto parts store. Noteworthy, this unit comes with a smaller 1.75-inch diameter alternator pulley, requiring a longer (Dayco 5060775) drive belt for proper tension and is not recommended for sustained use above 5,000 RPM engine speed.
