- HYBRID MOTOR: Ferrite and neodymium magnets work together for strong, efficient output.
- 100.5 dB SENSITIVITY: Gets loud on less power, so your amp works less to hit high volume.
- WIDER RANGE: Plays from 90 Hz up to 16,000 Hz for fuller midbass and clear upper detail.
- 180 WATTS RMS: Handles steady, real power at 4 ohms for daily driving or competition.
- LIGHT AND RIGID BUILD: Paper cone and aluminum frame keep response fast and stable under power.
Deaf Bonce Apocalypse AP-M61AN Hybrid 6.5" 180W RMS 4 Ohm Midrange Speaker Pair
This Listing Includes
- (2) Deaf Bonce Apocalypse AP-M61AN Hybrid 6.5" Midrange Speakers
The Apocalypse AP-M61AN Hybrid is a 6.5" pro style midrange that pairs a ferrite magnet with a neodymium magnet in one motor. The result is a strong, efficient driver rated at 100.5 dB sensitivity, so it gets loud without needing a huge amp behind it.
It plays down to 90 Hz, a little lower than most pro mids, which helps fill the gap between your subwoofer and the rest of your front stage. On the top end it reaches 16,000 Hz, so vocals, guitars, and snares come through with plenty of detail. A paper cone keeps it quick and responsive, and the aluminum frame adds rigidity under heavy power.
The 1" voice coil is wound with copper clad aluminum wire (CCAW), which keeps the moving parts light for fast response. With a BL of 5.5, the motor has solid control over the cone at high volume.
These are midrange speakers, not full range coaxials, so they need a high pass filter set at 90 Hz or higher. Pair them with tweeters and a subwoofer for a complete system, and power them with a 4 ohm stable amp channel.
Features
- Midrange only: set your high pass crossover at 90 Hz or higher
- Extended low end helps blend with your subwoofer for smoother midbass
- Built to run with separate tweeters and a subwoofer
- 4 ohm load: match with a 4 ohm stable amplifier channel
- Sold as a pair, enough for one set of doors or kick panels
