The DD Audio 9900C Series 18-inch subwoofer brings serious bass with 3200W RMS power handling and a 9600W peak rating. Built with competition in mind, it uses DD Audio's largest ferrite motor. The Dual 2-ohm setup gives you flexible wiring options to match your amp. It also includes an aluminum Dual Stage Motor Heatsink, the 2nd Generation V-ROM surround, and the USA-made Iron Cloth Spider System, all designed to help with excursion and efficiency, while the high-temp voice coil is built to hold up during hard use. This sub is made for large ported enclosures.
This is the SuperCharged version. DD adds a specially shaped neodymium ring inside the motor that redirects magnetic energy into the voice coil gap, raising usable motor strength by about 20 to 25%. On a cone this big, that extra grip makes a real difference, giving you cleaner, more controlled bass across the whole power range. Power handling stays the same as the standard 9918C, so plan your amp around 3200 watts RMS.
