The Sundown Audio SA6.5M from the all new 2025 SA-Series is designed for listeners who want true sound quality without giving up output capability. This speaker can be used as a dedicated midrange or midbass driver depending on your application, making it extremely versatile for SQ focused builds.
Built with a woven carbon fiber cone and dust cap, the SA6.5M delivers a smooth and controlled frequency response with very low distortion. The suspension system, surround, and spider were fully FEA simulated and Klippel verified to ensure long term reliability and consistent performance. A redesigned custom tooled frame improves airflow and voice coil cooling, allowing the speaker to handle serious power while staying composed.
With nearly 6mm of one way linear excursion and efficient motor venting, the SA6.5M provides strong midbass punch and clean midrange detail. This is the fourth generation SA mid driver, refined further to meet the demands of modern high end sound quality systems.
