High Output Alternator for the 2012-2013 Nissan Altima 2.5L (Coupe)

This high output alternator is built for the 2012-2013 Altima coupe with the 2.5L four-cylinder. It's custom built with precision laser-cut brackets for direct fitment and includes an adaptor plug that connects to your factory plug. It's available from 250 up to 400 amps.

Why upgrade? A quick load check

A 1,000-watt RMS amplifier can draw roughly 80 to 100 amps at full output, on top of what the car itself uses. Choose 250 amp for most single-amplifier systems, 320 amp for larger builds, and 370 or 400 amp for high-power systems.

Fitment:

This is a direct fit high-output alternator for the 2012-2013 Nissan Altima 2.5L.This alternator is a custom built alternator made with custom fabricated brackets that are laser cut to precision. With our teams dedicated innovation we have been able to design these custom brackets for direct fitment.

Plug:

This high-output alternator comes with a separate adaptor plug. One side will plug directly into the aftermarket high-output alternator, and the other side will plug into the factory plug.

NOTE: If you require charging at a certain voltage setpoint, we offer a selection of different voltage regulators that you will need to purchase with the alternator for it to be installed. Individual regulator options (verify compatibility and charging voltage): 14.8V Internal (Pigtail) | 14.8V Self-Excite | 15.5V Lithium | 16V Lithium | GM 1-Wire

Pulley:

This alternator also comes with a smaller pulley, which causes it to spin faster than a larger pulley. This can help the alternator produce its maximum output. With a smaller pulley, it is required to install a 1/2" - 1" shorter belt.

Big 3 Wiring:

When Upgrading to a High-Output Alternator, it is required to upgrade your wiring with the Big 3 Wiring Upgrade Kit (choose a cable length: 4ft 1/0 positive cable kit / 6ft 1/0 positive cable kit / 10.5ft 1/0 positive cable kit / 20ft 2/0 positive cable kit). It is recommended to use 1/0 100% copper wires for the upgrade.
