Handling 300 watts RMS and 600 watts max power, this 4-ohm midrange is built to deliver strong vocals, detailed instrumentation, and commanding midrange presence. The 6XL600-4 features a rigid aluminum basket with a satin black finish, a powerful 34 oz ferrite magnet, and a 2" voice coil. Its non-pressed paper cone and cloth surround provide the foundation for responsive midrange reproduction, while the 60Hz to 12.5kHz frequency response gives builders flexibility when designing their system.
DS18 recommends a 100Hz high-pass crossover to help manage lower frequencies and keep the speaker operating within its intended range.
