This weekend brought the best drag racers in the country to Charlotte, NC for the Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Nationals. Among the best was Camrie Caruso and her Big Jeff Audio sponsored Chevrolet Camaro. The weekend was full of excitement as Caruso took to her hometown dragway and Big Jeff and the team were in attendance for the race. Caruso performed well in the initial qualifying passes, surging into the top half of the qualifying finalists with a run of 6.561 seconds and posted the highest top speed of any driver in the event. Sunday was intense, as Camrie’s No. 7 qualifying spot put her in a tough quad with KB Titan Racing teammate and No. 2 Qualifier Dallas Glenn, No. 15 Qualifier Fernando Cuadra Jr, and No. 10 Qualifier Mason McGaha.
After a rain delay on Sunday, Caruso approached the line with her fellow first round qualifiers. As they eagerly awaited the tree to signal, Caruso hit the gas and posted an impressive 6.590 second run, good enough for third quickest of the session. However, Caruso initiated her run before the tree fired and resulted in a disqualification. The unsuccessful run was unfortunate, but Caruso still sits at 5th in points for the Pro Stock Drivers season with a lot of races still to come.
“I am really bummed about that first round and getting that red-light,” said Caruso, who won the NHRA Arizona Nationals earlier this season. “I came back and talked to my guys and thanked them for giving me an amazing race car. We had Big Jeff Audio on this Camaro and we wanted to go rounds. We made progress throughout qualifying, and we stepped up in the first round. That is the biggest take away; we have a solid car going to Chicago and for the rest of the season. I just wish Chicago was next weekend.”

First off I want to say thank you to Big Jeff and his whole team. I love the podcasts every week. Anyways, these amps are fantastic. I have 2 of them and they are absolute beasts. I can run them for an hour straight on 2 sundown zv6 18s and they barely get warm to the touch. The sound quality is better than any amp I've owned. I'm not even getting their full power either because I am running headway lithium which doesn't hold 14.4v. They literally almost get as loud as my 2 Brazilian 8k amps. If you got the electrical to run these, you will love them. Hands down the best amps I've ever owned. And they came very well packaged as always from Big Jeff Audio. I ordered during a holiday season and my shipping time was still very fast here in Asheville Nc. Anyways, my point is, these amps are amazing and I think they are discontinued so get them while Big Jeff still has some left. Thanks Big Jeff and his Team. Very happy with all of my purchases from you guys.
