Big Sound with Big Jeff Podcast Profile: Parker the Basshead
Our next Podcast is coming up fast! As we prepare for Thursday’s show, we want to give you a behind-the-scenes look at one of our guests, Parker the Basshead. Parker is a YouTuber that creates videos about car audio products, including reviews, product tests, installation tutorials and even blowing equipment for fun.
Parker got his start as a teenager installing a pair 12s in his car that he bought off a buddy and that sparked his love for bass. Parker also enjoyed creating videos and decided to merge the two passions. He eventually made a review on the Rockville K9. The video got serious traction and he made the decision to keep creating content. He now has posted 306 videos to his channel. The channel boasts over 17 million views and over 90 thousand YouTube subscribers as of writing this article.
I got to talk to Parker before the show and asked about what he sees changing in the car audio world. “Full bridge amps are definitely becoming pretty big compared to where they were when I started.” Parker said. That is what’s great about Parker’s channel; he covers so many products and installations you can get answers on almost anything you’re looking for in the car audio space.
