Big Sound Podcast Recap Episode 6

Last night we had a great time with all our guests and our viewers as we welcomed Jon Rabe from Sky High Audio and Robert Vega from HiFi Vega. We also announced multiple giveaway winners throughout the night, so congratulations to all the winners. Our first guest was HiFi Vega, whose YouTube channel is filled with great information on car audio. He has a ton of product reviews, dyno tests and instructional videos to create your own build. Vega broke down how he started creating videos and what type of videos he enjoys making the most. He worked closely and was influenced by his friend Derek from Williston Audio Labs who encouraged him to start his channel. Vega also got to announce one of the giveaway winners for the evening and his answer in our Car Audio 101 segment is perfect for new enthusiasts looking for the tools they need to get started.

The second guest of the night was Jon Rabe, owner of Sky High Audio. Jon started the company out of his garage about 10 years ago and is a partial owner of Trinity Audio, SoundQubed, and Limitless. Jon gave us an in-depth look at the business side of car audio and what it takes to keep a business growing. Jon said Sky High Audio has gone through seven building changes as they’ve grown and is currently constructing their largest building, yet in hopes for it to be their forever home. He also gave us a sneak peek at their new woofers with 4-inch voice coils; the woofers are built to take a beating while still being affordable.
