The sixth episode of the Big Sound by Big Jeff Podcast is coming up this Thursday, June 15th and we have two new guests joining us for the evening. We plan to have great prizes for our giveaway and a car audio 101 segment that shouldn’t be missed. One of our guests this week will be Jon Rabe from Sky High Car Audio. Jon also works with multiple brands such as Trinity and SoundQubed. He started in car audio as a hobby and turned that hobby into a career beginning with installing systems from his garage in college. From there he started working at DC Audio when he was 19 years old. Jon started to learn the business side of the car audio world there while also selling products on his own eBay page. He never stopped growing from there and is now an integral part of the Sky High Audio team.
Jon has noticed some changes in the industry since he began his car audio journey. There are more manufacturers that are able to get into the market than ever before. Jon believes “Social media has changed the entire industry.” This is in part due to the progression of social media and the ability to reach your consumers and grow a brand identity more easily than in the past.
With all the brands Jon works with, there are a ton of new products in development that we will speak with him about on the podcast. We are getting an exciting look behind the curtain at what to expect from these brands in the coming months and years. Used this sub for my PC audio setup. I built a custom mini 4th order for it and it sounds great!
Used this amp for the sub stage in my Can Am SXS, I needed the compact size to fit in a specific location and it works great and sounds great. I really like that an amp this small in size still comes with a bass knob and set screw style terminals.
Jacket is a little stiff on this wire, it’s not the softer silicone jacket like on a lot of car audio speaker wire. Nonetheless it’s a good quality wire and solders well

First off I want to say thank you to Big Jeff and his whole team. I love the podcasts every week. Anyways, these amps are fantastic. I have 2 of them and they are absolute beasts. I can run them for an hour straight on 2 sundown zv6 18s and they barely get warm to the touch. The sound quality is better than any amp I've owned. I'm not even getting their full power either because I am running headway lithium which doesn't hold 14.4v. They literally almost get as loud as my 2 Brazilian 8k amps. If you got the electrical to run these, you will love them. Hands down the best amps I've ever owned. And they came very well packaged as always from Big Jeff Audio. I ordered during a holiday season and my shipping time was still very fast here in Asheville Nc. Anyways, my point is, these amps are amazing and I think they are discontinued so get them while Big Jeff still has some left. Thanks Big Jeff and his Team. Very happy with all of my purchases from you guys.
