Big Sound Podcast Episode 4 Recap

The Big Sound by Big Jeff podcast episode 4 aired last night on our social media channels and we had a great time speaking with all our guests and reading your comments and questions. We welcomed DS18 owner Sasha Susterman, Sales Rep Jason Martin, and Mr. DS18 Rob Ferro, and long-time industry rep and owner of Dynamic Sales Marketing, John Schneid. We found out a ton about each of the companies and how they became important parts of the industry. We kept the giveaway streak running with DS18 prizes all night starting with a DS18 remote start for one lucky fan’s vehicle. We then randomly selected the winner of a pair of DS18 pro tweeters and capped off the night by announcing the winner of the 13k subscriber giveaway for a full DS18 audio set up.

The conversations were fascinating and the DS18 team gave us a peek behind the curtain on what they are working on next. They will be at shows across the country in the coming months, including Slamology next weekend. As far as products go, they are working on a variety of powersports applications including for the new Bronco, Slingshot, and CANAM. Sasha even said to keep an eye out for an 18” subwoofer sometime next year.

John Schneid gave us an inside look at how important the reps’ position in the industry is and how they are the connective tissue between the manufacturers and the dealers. John spoke about the way he helps his customers identify trends and changes in the audio world and offered advice. He even listens to their complaints and sooths the occasional frustration. His job has many facets that many don’t realize since most of their work is behind the scenes, but they have a huge responsibility in getting mobile electronics to consumers all over the world.
