An FEA-optimized motor was designed in-house, and features a full 6mm one-way linear excursion - thanks to a carefully designed motor and extended pole piece. To increase thermal performance, the SA midrange features a vented magnetic gap and vented voice coil collar.


The SA series silk dome tweeter matches the smooth sound of the midrange. A result of extensive testing, Sundown optimized the tweeter’s gap, dome material, lens, and chamber damping material. The results speak for themselves.


The separates feature a 12 dB network centered at 3800 Hz, with high quality air core inductors and Mylar capacitors. Change the midrange low pass filter to your acoustic tastes from a 12dB, to 6dB, to a bypassed slope. The tweeter's response is also customizable, ranging from 0, to -3, to -6 dB levels.


The SA separates were engineered for one, simple goal: to let you completely immerse yourself in the music. At any volume. For as long as you want.
